2021 Andrew Hartle Invitational Meet - Long Course

From June 4 - June 5, twenty-nine of our swimmers traveled to Greensboro, NC for the Andrew Hartle Invitational Meet (long course) - a great team turnout from ages 5-18! This was a new-to-our-team long course meet held at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.  Our 29 swimmers swam a total of 163 events over the course of 2 days. 46 of these races were first time swims.

This meet was probably most exciting for our parents, since it was the first in-stand meet since March of 2020! Having the opportunity to watch and cheer on our kids - and not through a screen - was wonderful. It's great to see our swimmers' hard work in real time!

11-12 Swimmers: Sadie Deeble (12), Boris Dmytriyev (11), Lila Gorby (12), James Hewitt (11), Hayley Mancini (11), Brandon Smith (11), and Chenghao Yang (12)

13-14 Swimmers: Molly Beckwith (14), Julia Dunham (14), Kaleb Erb (14), Tessa Gorby (14), Madison Keller (13), and Isabelle Thompson (13)  

15/older Swimmers: Zoe Deeble (15), Sarah Dunham (15), Zachary Erb (16), Noah Gabriele (15), Dylan King (15), Katelyn Lough (15), Cole Martin (15), Marshall Smith (15), Eliza Thompson (16), and Isaac Wenger (15)

Thirty-four of our swimmers placed in the top three in twenty different events, with seventy-five overall top 10 placements:  WAY TO GO!!

There were SEVENTY-NINE new motivational cuts achieved from B through AAA.  Those swims and swimmers are called out below.  Great meet, everyone!! We hope you all had fun and were encouraged by your times over the course of the weekend and can't wait to see your progress over the rest of the long course season. Keep up the good work!
