The practice schedule for the Fall/Spring of 2025 is tentatively listed below and is synced to our Google Calendar (below) for you to sync to your own devices. Dryland for our senior group is pending facility confirmation (updated 7/10/25).
Please note: Swimmers may attend ONLY their alloted practice times due to lane limitations and practice groups. Practices are held at one of our area pools (Westover Pool, JMU's Godwin Hall, or RMH Wellness Center) depending on pool availibility.
Practice schedules beginning 6/9/25. Fall practices for all groups begin Monday, August 25, 2025.

PRACTICE CANCELLATION DUE TO WEATHER
At times, we have to cancel practices due to weather conditions. Our team uses several different pools for practice in the Harrisonburg area, and we are required to follow their closures for weather. If any last-minute practice changes need to be made, we will send out an email to impacted groups, share updates in our private Facebook group, and send out a text (please see the section on setting up SMS messaging in your account). We do not make up practices for weather-related cancellations.
OTHER PRACTICE CANCELLATIONS / ADJUSTMENTS
Our team will observe major holidays and also the schedule of the facilities we use. Any cancellations will be noted on our team calendar and if a last-minute cancellation or adjustment occurs due to coach illness or other unseen event, we will let the impacted practice groups know as soon as possible via email, FB, and text.
Sync Your Calendar
Click the + button (bottom right) to add/sync the practice times to your calendar from a desktop/laptop. You will be offered the chance to choose the practice times appropriate for your child(ren). If there are any schedule changes, they will be reflected on your calendar.
Attendance Policy
Attendance at every practice offered is encouraged, but not required.
"In our experience, all teams have swimmers with varying levels of commitment. While we would never discourage any athlete from being a well-rounded student athlete, our experience is that your attendance will always affect your development and enjoyment within the sport, positively or negatively. As with any activity that requires commitment and skill acquisition, time on task is the most critical component of mastery. We don’t believe in making swimmers feel guilty about missing practice but rather, have them feel motivated to have the best attendance they can manage."
