2021 Friendly City Intrasquad

September 25-26, 2021, our team hosted our first-ever Friendly City Intrasquad at Westover Pool and welcomed some of the Charlottesville Gators to our deck. We had 79 swimmers from the Harrisonburg team participate, with quite a few who were first time Gator swimmers! Our 79 swimmers swam a total of 338 races over the course of 2 days, with 87 of them first-time swims. The weather was amazing and it was wonderful to all be on deck together in the sun. Thank you so much to the multitude of volunteers we had that weekend as the hosting team.

77 of our swimmers had best times and a total of 441 seconds were dropped overall - GREAT JOB!!

There were THIRTY-EIGHT new motivational cuts achieved from B through AA. Those swims and swimmers are called out below. We look forward to seeing continued improvement in our upcoming meets for the remainder of the short course season. This was a great kick-off to the season. Keep up the good work!
