2021 SwimRVA Blastoff |  Short Course

From October 1-3, forty-seven of our swimmers traveled to Richmond, VA for the SwimRVA Blastoff Invitational - a great team turnout for our kids! This was a short course meet held at Collegiate Aquatic Center. Our team swam a total of 233 events over the course of 3 days, and 28 of these races were first time swims and 95 were best times. In addition, a total of 419.89 seconds were dropped!

8/under Swimmers: Huck Kann (8), Elias Kite (7), Bryson Long (7) and Harper Mancini (6)

9-10 Swimmers: Brian Dixon Jr (9), Igor Dmytriyev (9), Jed Gorby (9), Eliza Hewitt (9), Isaiah Kite (9), Caelee Long (9), and Claire Maust (9)

11-12 Swimmers: Sadie Deeble (12), Brianna Dixon (11), Boris Dmytriyev (12), Lila Dunham (12), Lila Gorby (12), James Hewitt (11), Jozelyn Kann (12), Sara Keller (11), Hayley Mancini (11), Sam Maust (11), Naomi Shafer (11), Brandon Smith (11), Joe Yang (12), and Nora von Rotz (12)

13-14 Swimmers: Molly Beckwith (14), Tommy Bill (14), Rebecca Couric (14), Tessa Gorby (14), Alison Hook (13), Madison Keller (14), and Adrianna Suttell (13) 

15/older Swimmers: Lydia Couric (15), Graham DeVito (16), Zoe Deeble (16), Sarah Dunham (16), Aiden Dupuis (18), Noah Gabriele (16), Phineas Kasten (17), Dylan King (16), Abigail Kullander (16), Cole Martin (16), Marshall Smith (16), and Isaac Wenger (16)

Thirty of our swimmers placed in the top three in twenty-seven different events, with eighty-four overall top 10 placements:  WAY TO GO!! 

There were 45 new motivational cuts achieved from B through AAA.  Those swims and swimmers are called out below.  Great meet, everyone!! We hope you all had fun and were encouraged by your times over the course of the weekend.
