2021-22 Southwest District 9 & Older Championship Meet | Short Course
Thirty-three of our 9 and older swimmers traveled to Christiansburg from February 25-27 for the 2021-22 SW District 9/Older Championship meet, working toward last minute cuts and bettering times.

Each swimmer buddied up with another team member over the weekend as well, and it was so much fun to see the posters and team spirit with kids cheering each other on! Thanks so much for all the hard work swimmers (and parents) put in to encouraging each other.

Our thirty-three swimmers competed in a total of 251 events over the course of three days as well as participated in many relays, with a whopping 131 best times. In addition, a total of 416.54 seconds were dropped (six swims dropped over 10% of their seed time)!

60 of our swimmers placed in the top ten and 21 of those placed in the top three in fifteen different events, including SEVEN first place finishes - Great job, everyone!!
There were 53 motivational cuts achieved as well from AA through B. Those swims and swimmers are called out below. You all did AMAZING!
