From April 13 - April 16, seven of our age group swimmers (ages 14/under) traveled to St. Petersburg, FL with a few Roanoke Gators to compete in the 2022 ISCA East Elite Showcase and wrap up their short course season.  
 

Our group swam a total of 54 races over the course of four days and dropped a total of 46.28 seconds, achieving 20 best swims.

9-10 Swimmers: Eliza Hewitt (10), Isaiah Kite (10), and Claire Maust (9)

11-12 Swimmers: James Hewitt (12), Sam Maust (11)

13-14 Swimmers: Alison Hooke (14), Madison Keller (14)

 

Seven of our swimmers competed in evening finals for their events, and six of those swimmers placed in the top ten during finals. Great job, everyone!

There were 5 new motivational cuts achieved from BB through AAA.  Those swims and swimmers are called out below.  Congratulations, everyone.  What a great way to wrap up the end of the 2022 year - and a strong start as we head into the end of the short course season!
