2022 HOKI May Day Invitational Meet Results | Long Course

Eighteen of our swimmers traveled to Christiansburg from April 29 - May 1, 2022 for the 2022 HOKI May Day Invitational held at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center - our first long course meet of the season! We had a few first time Gators competing as well - yay!!

 

Our attending swimmers: 

8/Under Swimmers: Elias Kite (7)

9-10 Swimmers: Igor Dmytriyev (9), Jed Gorby (10), Eliza Hewitt (10), Isaiah Kite (10), and Alice Nutter (10)

11-12 Swimmers: Boris Dmytriyev (12), James Hewitt (12), Lillian Nutter (12), Naomi Shafer (12), and Brandon Smith (11) 

13-14 Swimmers: Lila Gorby (13), Madison Keller (14), Albert Krasheninnikov (14) and Joe Yang (13)

15/Older Swimmers:  Graham DeVito (17), Tessa Gorby (15), and Isaac Wenger (16)

Our eighteen swimmers competed in a total of 100 events during the meet, with 21 best times. In addition, a total of 149.68 seconds were dropped.

62 of our swimmers placed in the top ten and 39 of those placed in the top three; 26 were first place finishes - great job, everyone!! 

There were 13 motivational cuts achieved as well from AA through B. Those swims and swimmers are called out below.  You all did AMAZING!
