2022 Virginia Swimming Senior Champs Meet Results | Long Course

Ten of our 15/older swimmers traveled to Lychburg, VA for the 2022 VSI Long Course Senior Championship held July 14-17, 2022. This was a qualifying meet, so each of these seniors earned cuts from the following time standards.

Congratulations to Lydia Couric (16), Zoe Deeble (16), Graham DeVito (17), Sarah Dunham (16), Kaleb Erb (15), Zachary Erb (17), Noah Gabrielle (17), Dylan King (16), Cole Martin (16), and Alexia Wright (17) for their hard work.

Our ten swimmers competed in a total of 63 events over the course of four days as well as participated in several relays, with 35 best times. In addition, a total of 97.81 seconds were dropped (an average drop of 2.46% per race).

One of our swimmers placed in the top three in two different events and 1 of those was a first place finish - Great job!! 

There were additionally 19 motivational cuts achieved - including 2 US Open qualifying times. Those swims and swimmers are called out below.
