2022 SwimRVA Blastoff | Short Course

From October 7-9, forty-one of our swimmers traveled to Richmond, VA for the SwimRVA Blastoff - and the first travel meet for quite a few as well. This was a short course meet held at Collegiate Aquatic Center. Our team swam a total of 185 events over the course of 3 days, 23 of these races were first time swims, and 83 were best times. In addition, a total of 336.74 seconds were dropped!

8/under Swimmers: Lola Glanzer, Maggie Kistler, Elias Kite, LeAnne Lamanna, Bryson Long, Hudson Wilfong, Audrey Wood, and Rayna Wood

9-10 Swimmers: Jackson Budnikas, Igor Dmytriyev, Jed Gorby, Vivienne Hess, Camille Jerlinski, Isaiah Kite, Caelee Long, Claire Maust, Alice Nutter, and Elysia Schoolcraft

11-12 Swimmers: Peyton Funkhouser, Myla Gilmer, Sebastian Hess, Lily Kistler, Sam Maust, Lillian Nutter, Reese Ostlund, Layton Scott, and Brandon Smith

13-14 Swimmers: Sadie Deeble, Boris Dmytriyev, Lila Gorby, Naomi Shafer, and Joe Yang

15/older Swimmers: Molly Beckwith, Lydia Couric, Rebecca Couric, Graham DeVito, Kallie Eaton, Madison Keller, Cole Martin, and Isaac Wenger

Thirty-one of our swimmers placed in the top three in eighteen different events, with sixty-seven overall top 10 placements:  WAY TO GO!! 

There were 39 new motivational cuts achieved from B through AAA.  Those swims and swimmers are called out below.  Great meet, everyone!! We hope you all had fun and were encouraged by your times over the course of the weekend.
