2023 SwimRVA Blastoff Meet Results| Short Course

From October 6-8, forty of our swimmers traveled to Richmond, VA for the SwimRVA Blastoff. This was a short course meet held at Collegiate Aquatic Center. Our team swam a total of 198 events over the course of 3 days, 23 of these races were first time swims, and 115 were best times. In addition, a total of 520.95 seconds were dropped!

8/under Swimmers: Olivia Dameron, Elsie Glanzer, Maggie Kistler, Abby Luikart, Lily Paradise, Rhett Ritchie, Lane Skelly, and Alexander Zook

9-10 Swimmers: Silas Dameron, Lola Glanzer, Madelyn Gray, Vivienne Hess, Elsa Hijjeh, Elias Kite, LeAnne Lamanna, Bryson Long, Anna Paradise, Riley Richards, Will Richardson, Elysia Schoolcraft, Coleman Skelly, and Kaimbrie Zook

11-12 Swimmers: Igor Dmytriyev, Vasilii Dobrynin, Sebby Hess, Eliza Hewitt, Lydia Hijjeh, Isaiah Kite, Dylan Lin, Caelee Long, and Sophia Papa

13-14 Swimmers: Gage Becker, Boris Dmytriyev, Peyton Funkhouser, James Hewitt, Lily Kistler, Reese Ostlund, Naomi Shafer, Brandon Smith, and Joe Yang

15/older Swimmers: Molly Beckwith, Lydia Couric, and Iaroslav Dobrynin

Thirty of our swimmers placed in the top three in twenty-four different events, with ninety-four overall top 10 placements:  WAY TO GO!! 

There were 41 new motivational cuts achieved from B through AA. Those swims and swimmers are called out below.  Great meet, everyone!! We hope you all had fun and were encouraged by your times over the course of the weekend. Motivational tags will be coming to swimmers soon!
