2024 Virginia Swimming LC Age Group Championship Meet Results | Long Course

Eight of our 14/younger swimmers competed at the 2024 Virginia Swimming Long Course Age Group Championship meet held in Christiansburg, VA from July 25 - July 28, 2024. This was a qualifying meet, so each of our swimmers earned cuts from the following time standards. 

Swimmers on deck: Igor Dmytriyev, Sebby Hess, Viv Hess, Eliza Hewitt, James Hewitt, Elias Kite, Isaiah Kite, and Naomi Shafer

Our eight swimmers competed in a total of 49 races over the course of three days as well as participated in several relays, with 36 best times. In addition, a total of 120.3 seconds were dropped (an average drop of 3.35% per race).

One of our swimmers, Elias Kite, swam a 30.30 in his 50M Freestyle, securing both a 1st place win and the Virginia Gator's record by .03 - every bit counts! dropping 

20 of our swimmers placed in the top ten and 4 swims were in the top 3, with one first place finish - great job!! 

There were additionally 17 motivational cuts achieved and a new Virigina Gator record set! Those cuts and records are called out below.
