2025 Southwest District 8 & Under Championship Meet | Short Course

On February 8-9, nine of our youngest swimmers traveled to Charlottesville for the 2025 SW District 8/Under Championship meet, dropping time across the board and making a few top three podium finishes! 

Our 8/under Swimmers: Lily Anne Anderson, Olivia Dameron, Fedor Dobrynin, Harper Greer, Abigail Luikart, Rowan Reamer, Jordyn Shull, Lane Skelly, and Shep Stubbe.

Our nine swimmers competed in a total of 44 events over the course of the two days as well as participated in six relays; seven of these races were first time swims, and 15 were best times. In addition, a total of 24.38 seconds were dropped.

 

 

Nine of our swimmers placed in the top five and two of our swimmers, Olivia Dameron and Abigail Luikart, placed in the top three in five different events - Olivia in 2 and Abigail in 3.  Those podium finishes are highligted out below.
