2025 Eastern Zone Sectionals Meet Results| Short Course

This year we had four swimmers qualify and compete at the 2025 Speedo Eastern Zone Sectionals meet held in Christiansburg, VA from March 27 - March 30, 2025. As a qualifying meet our swimmers earned cuts from the following time standards. 

Congratulations to Molly Beckwith, Kaleb Erb, James Hewitt, and Liam McMahon for their hard work in achieving the cuts in order to attend this meet!

All four swimmers qualified for finals in the below events, and all four placed top 8 in one (or more events). Below are the events they medaled in or made finals in, with a * denoting a personal best time achieved. The following also made finals in several additional events: 200 Free (Molly, 9th), 50 Free (Molly, 10th), 100 Back (Molly, 21st), 100 Breast (James, 23rd) 200 Breast (Kaleb, 13th), 400 IM

  • Molly: 100 Fly (8th), 100 Free (7th)*, 200 Free (9th), 50 Free (10th)*, 100 Back (21st)*
  • Kaleb: 100 Fly (6th)*, 200 Fly (8th)*, 200 IM (3rd)*, 200 Breast*, 100 Breast*
  • James Hewitt: 200 IM (7th)*, 100 Breast (23rd), 400 IM (23rd), 200 Breast (14th)*
  • Liam McMahon: 200 IM (6th)*, 100 Beast (20th), 200 Breast (10th)

Kaleb also earned two Futures cuts in the 100 Fly and the 100 Breast.Congratulations again to these four on their hard work over this past season!
