2020-21 Virginia Swimming Short Course Age Group Championships From March 11-14, nine of our swimmers traveled to Liberty University for the Virginia Swiming Short Course Age Group Championships. 2020-21 VA Swimming Short Course Championship Meet From March 4 - March 7, thirteen of our senior swimmers braved choppy waters and cold outdoor temps in Richmond, VA to put the cap on a very interesting year for the Virginia Swimming short course season! 8 & Unders Crushed District Champs!!! From February 6-7, nine swimmers traveled to Charlottesville to show off their hard work in the pool. Here is a summary of some of their accomplishments. Eight swimmers from the Harrisonburg Gators were able to compete in this year's Virginia Swimming Senior Championships hosted in Richmond Virginia early this March. Sarah Arnold, Mia Constantin, Ryan Deavers, Zoe Deeble, Aiden Dupuis, Zachary Erb, Nathan Smith, Eliza Thompson all had solid swims throughout the competition. This past weekend, the Virginia Gators of Harrisonburg had 34 swimmers compete in the Blue Ridge Region - SW District Championship meet in Christiansburg Virginia. We were able to see time improvements across the board from the participants. Special shoutout out to Tommy Bill for scoring 133 points, which is the highest point total in the men's category for the Virginia Gators across the Charlottesville, Roanoke, and Harrisonburg sites.
